The
Tryon Riding and Hunt Club (TR&HC) sponsors the Steeplechase,
various horse shows,
and the Any and All Dog Show each year. This link will also give
you the history of the TR&HC.
The
Foothills Equestrian Nature Center or FENCE offers 384 acres of
hardwood forest, meadow,
and wetland for hikers, birdwatchers, gardeners,
astronomers. Our entire property is protected
by a conservation easement, so
it will always be available for future generations. During the school year,
some eight thousand elementary and junior high school students join our Project
FENCE natural history curriculum.
Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) has quickly become an
international hub for many
of the world’s top equestrian athletes. We
welcomes guests 365 days a year to watch, dine, shop,
and experience
one of the premier riding facilities in the world built for the love of horses
and our sport.

Green Creek area of Polk County. They have a kennel for the dogs
and they ride with a dog pack.
