Puff The Magic Dragon
Spooky
Spectre

All had gattlin guns on board.

Below is the original Puff The Magic Dragon
This is a converted DC-3 or C47 Aircraft.
We also knew it just as Puff.

Later on it was called Spooky and became a C-130 aircraft
that is still in use in Afghanistan and Iraq today.

This is Spooky at Night.

The gun may be seen firing below as a white line
on the right upper side of the picture.
A tracer is fired every fifth shell.

How about it today - brings back old memories?

Below yet another shot of Spooky!

Below is a C-130 that can lay down fire like that above.
Note the cannon on the right front side of the C-130
in in the process of be fired.

Below on the way out to give air cover to the troops
This one has a later version of the Cannon which could
fire far more rounds per minute than the earlier version.

Night time flairs be launched in the next three pictures below
from a C-130 Aircraft somewhere in the Vietnam area.

Close up of the guns that stick out of the side of the C-130
the rear one is the last version of gattlin gun
and the front one is slight lower caliber.

The last incarnation of the C-130 now know as the Spectre showing
the Gun Placements in / on the body of the aircraft

Above is a display of a C-130 with the gattlin guns in place
plus the big gun on display next to the aircraft.
