We have breath taking site seeing with many vista in the mountains to see
from, Bicycle Touring, White Water Canoeing, Hiking, Horse Back Riding, Nature Trails,
Many Water Falls and Nature Gardens plus lots of Antique and Craft shops to visit. 

There are whole host of other activities available as well - such as Horse Shows, Steeplechase,
The Fabulous 4th 100K Bicycle Tour, The Assaults Bicycle Challenge, Coon Dog Day
and the Fabulous 4th of July Celebration. So this really is a great place to live!

VFW Post - Mill Springs
Every Thursday Night - Doors opens open 6:00 PM
Play starts 7:00 PM. Located just before the cross roads
of NC-108 and NC-9 west side. The Middle school turns
to the left and the VFW Post turns to the Right.
Sign is on the South side of road and then
go up the steep hill to the top and you are at the VFW Post.


The following applies to both locations:
Bingo is open to the general public - no age restrictions.

Everyone is invited to come and join in and play.
Smoke Free and NO Alcohol allowed inside the buildings.
We have full kitchens with food and snacks available.

Pacolet Area Conservancy (PAC)

The core events are monthly presentations held at
Walnut Creek Preserve featuring regional naturalists.
We have two hiking series (spring and fall)
of eight hikes each to special regional places.
All are free and open to the public
